"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory."
Isaiah 6:3; Psalm 72:19; Revelation 4:8
(to cite just a few of the many passages that speak of the Glory of the Lord and His sovereign dominion over all of creation!)

Blessed. . .

Her children arise and call her blessed. Psalm 31:28

CHACB Challenge #5: Pick a Stamp! Any Stamp!

Gloria Designs Challenge The current challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous is to use a stamp (at least one!) as the focal point of your project!

You don't have to be a card maker to hoard stamps! With the popularity of pocket-style scrapbooking and the explosion of journaling stamps on the market, many scrapbookers have also become stamp hoarders. Plus, digital stamps are more popular than ever. I am sure that most of us have at least one stamp in our stash! You may "collect" wood mounted stamps, clear stamps, cling rubber, or even digital! Get one out, dust it off, and make it the STAR of your project! We want to see a stamp (sentiment, word art, image, etc.) as the focal point of your project! Feel free to use more than one stamp, but you must have AT LEAST ONE stamped item on your project.

One talented participant (selected from both April Challenges) will receive this fabby prize for their work donated by Hampton Art. Hampton Art, founded in 1980 in picturesque Long Island, NY, has been inspiring stampers, crafters and papercraft enthusiasts for over 20 years. They have a portfolio of brands including Hampton Art™, Studio G™, Diffusion, Ditto™ and Ki Memories®, acquired in 2012.

The deadline for linking up is Sunday, April 20 at midnight PST.

From the Stash

This verse is such a sweet reminder of the faithfulness of the Lord and was given to His prophet Jeremiah "while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison" when the southern kingdom of Judah was taken into captivity (the northern kingdom had fallen years before). It was given to Jeremiah in order to encourage the Lord's people that they would not remain in captivity forever, but that He would free and restore them to Himself.

It is a message of encouragement even for today, as the Lord does not change. His children, those who are in Christ, are to call upon Him and we can be certain that He will answer. . .it may not be in the way we would expect, but it will always be in the way that is best for our eternal good and His glory. He also promises to answer those who call out to Him for respite, those who recognize their neediness and dependency and insufficiency, those who are hungry and thirsty. . .call on Him: He WILL answer!

About this card and the paper I've hoarded: My father started working for Pacific Bell when I was four. He retired after 30 years. When I discovered this paper from Graphic 45, a bought a sheet so I could make my dad a card. . .I hoarded the scraps and even after this card, have a couple of small pieces left!
