Wonderfully Made

I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14

A special card for a special man. . .my dad! He recently celebrated his 81st birthday and we were so blessed to be able to spend it with him this year for the first time in many, many years!. Not only has he been a loving, caring, providing, fun and resourceful dad to me (and my sister and brother) but he has embraced my husband as his own son. It is my husband (the other special man in my life) who decided that we should relocate to be near my parents so that we could be near them in this season of life (and I'm SO thankful that he did!).  We are so thankful to the Lord for His gift of my father, who He fearfully and wonderfully made, and for granting him so many years.

  1. Your card is beautiful Jan Marie. The embossed background reminds me of needlepoint.

I'm so glad you can be near your father. My father passed 11 years ago, and even though he lived a long way from us, we spent a lot of time with him as he went through cancer treatments. Spending time with loved ones, and being there for them is so important, and it is something we will never regret.
