He hears and answers. . .

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health,
as it goes well with your soul. 3 John 1:3

Gloria Designs Challenge

CHACB Challenge #15:

Our first September challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous is titled, "All the Pretty Flowers." And it's perfectly designed for all of you flower hoarders! Maybe you hoard pre-made flowers. Maybe you hoard flower punches or dies. Maybe you hoard flower stamps. "Dig" out those flowers and use them on your project!

We will again be selecting favorites and one talented participant will receive a fantastic prize for their work from our fabulous sponsors, Heartfelt Creations and Crafty Secrets! You have until Sunday, Sept. 14 at midnight PDT to prepare, submit and link up your project to the CHAC Blog. Please visit the blog for complete rules and the prize package AND information on our wonderful sponsors!

(Oh. . .and word has it that Crafty Secrets is having a linky party. . .visit their blog for details!)

Project description

For this card, I used the lovely images from Crafty Secrets', Birds and Blossoms and Little Blessings. The flowers include a stamp from Heartfelt Creations, Arianna Blooms Bouquet (HCPC 3609), which I colored, distressed, fussy cut, layered and glittered. It's in the lower right hand corner.

The background paper from Crafty Secrets is overlaid with a floral print vellum from World Win papers, a previous sponsor. The flowers are from Prima, and Gloria, and (don't tell) the Dollar Store. It's topped off with some Stickles and a couple of floral pins. For the inside of the card, I used the Heartfelt Creations, Arianna Blooms Bouquet (HCPC 3609) to make background paper and then pulled a page from the Crafty Secrets Birds and Botanicals Images and Journal Notes, stamped with a stamp from the Birthday Blessings set by Our Daily Bread Designs.
